You will build familiarity and fluency with design research fundamentals and identify the user and the solutions they need.
You will then synthesize your research, and use design sprints to take an idea from concept to low-fidelity prototype.
Finally, you will learn how to turn your low-fidelity prototype into a high-fidelity design, and improve its performance based on data.

Through the program, you will complete projects that can be incorporated into a UX portfolio at the end of the program in order to highlight your capabilities to future employers.

Applied Learning Project

You will complete a UX portfolio design capstone project.

UX Designers demonstrate their skills by showcasing their designs and processes in a portfolio. You will understand what should and shouldn’t be included in a portfolio, as well as the key components that appeal to target audiences.

Moreover, you will learn how to organize previous work and communicate it online, keeping the audience and your career objectives in mind.

You will learn how to apply storytelling and branding frameworks to create a personal profile that conveys a unique value proposition. In addition, you will learn best practices for maintaining and updating a UX portfolio.
